However, there is another, equally important form of recycling, which involves reusing products to give them a second life. This is the approach we take at <strong>Pro Lithium<\/strong> to battery processing.  <\/p>\n<p>Our process begins as soon as we <strong>receive<\/strong> the batteries, with a complete <strong>diagnostic<\/strong>. This diagnosis is essential because it enables us to determine the most appropriate type of recycling: reuse or metal recycling.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;40734&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Recovery and reuse: the second life of batteries&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]A battery is made up of several <strong>modules<\/strong>, themselves made up of <strong>cells<\/strong> (the &#8220;cells&#8221; of a battery). Diagnostics enable us to assess the condition of these components. <\/p>\n<p>If the diagnosis is positive, we recover the modules or cells for reuse in new applications. For example, vehicle battery modules can be reused in storage systems for solar panels, garden lights or even street lighting. <\/p>\n<p>Contrary to popular belief, reconditioned batteries do not have a limited lifespan. Each cell is carefully rebalanced with the others thanks to a technical process, enabling them to be fully functional for many years of service.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;40738&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Metal recycling: recovering the raw material&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]If the diagnosis reveals that the battery cannot be reused, it is sent for <strong>metal recycling<\/strong>.
